Combine the quality of a good hike and animal spotting!

This is a great 4-5 km hike with various stages of complexity and different surfaces (soil, gravel, wooden staircases at some parts). The average time for this walk is anywhere between 2-3 hours. This is not a simple walk in the forest as you'll be visiting Līgatne Nature trails where  you can observe and get to know wild animals of Latvia in conditions almost completely identical to their natural habitat! 

It is about 1h 20min drive from Riga and the drive takes you through Sigulda and Līgatne! It's possible to add more places of interest. 

You don't need any specific gear as most of the trail is flat with few stairs at some places. Perfect for travellers as you don't need to pack anything special!
