Līgatne Animal Trail / hike
Combine the quality of a good hike and animal spotting! This is a great 4-5 km hike with various stages of complexity and different surfaces (soil, gravel, wooden staircases at some parts). The average time for this walk is anywhere between 2-3 hours. This is not a simple walk in the forest as you'll be visiting Līgatne Nature trails where you can observe and get to know wild animals of Latvia in conditions almost completely identical to their natural habitat!
Quality First
It is about 1h 20min drive from Riga and the drive takes you through Sigulda and Līgatne! It's possible to add more places of interest.
You don't need any specific gear as most of the trail is flat with few stairs at some places. Perfect for travellers as you don't need to pack anything special!

Gauja National Park Hike
Every Latvian believes there is great power in nature, so we invite you to go for a hike/bushwalking in Gauja national park in the county of Sigulda! This is the oldest and the largest National park in Latvia. Sigulda is located about 1 hour drive from Riga and it is well known for medieval castles, hilly area, thick forests, caves and of course many options for extreme activities, such as bobsleigh, bungee jumping, zip-line over the river etc. We will guide you through forests and bushes for a tiring yet very beautiful hike and you can add more activities to the trip if you wish! Our standard route is about 12km long and it will take around 4 hours to complete, including time for a lunch break (picnic).
Quality First
Of course, the duration depends on how slow or fast you wish to go and how long time you will spend taking photos etc. From our side - there is no rush as we want you to enjoy the day out of the city! Please know that this hike includes quite a few steps up and down the hill. The route can be adjusted but please let us know if you're not a fan of stairs!

Mystery of Pokaini Trail
Do you like to discover mysteries? Do you like all the things connected with magic and spiritualism? This might be the perfect hike for you! Pokaiņi forest has many mysterious stories wrapped around it. Thousands of years ago Pokaiņi has been a famous holy place visited by many pilgrimages outside of Europe As you walk through the forest there are several unexplained piles of different size rocks. Some say they're gathered by farmers who were clearing the fields, some say they were gathered in order to build a castle which was never built. The thing is - no one know, no one can explain it!

Today, many people, especially scientists and healers, attribute magical powers to the Pokaiņi forest and the stones in it. We consider it a powerful energetic place, claiming that the Pokaiņi forest is located at the intersections of the Earth's bioenergetic flow! Likewise, many visitors to Pokaiņi forest have said that they observed anomalous natural phenomena there, saw visions or perceived a flow of information. Many people admit that some stones are warm and give away healing energies while some are dead cold. The length of the trail is 15km long, but it's possible to enter the teritory with a car to cut the walking distance.
