The views of Gauja National Park!

Every Latvian believes there is great power in nature, so we invite you to go for a hike/bushwalking in Gauja national park in the county of Sigulda! This is the oldest and the largest National park in Latvia. Sigulda is located about 1 hour drive from Riga and it is well known for medieval castles, hilly area, thick forests, caves and of course many options for extreme activities, such as bobsleigh, bungee jumping, zip-line over the river etc. We will guide you through forests and bushes for a tiring yet very beautiful hike and you can add more activities to the trip if you wish! 

Our standard route is about 12km long and it will take around 4 hours to complete, including time for a lunch break (picnic). Of course, the duration depends on how slow or fast you wish to go and how long time you will spend taking photos etc. From our side - there is no rush as we want you to enjoy the day out of the city! 

Please know that this hike includes quite a few steps up and down the hill. The route can be adjusted but please let us know if you're not a fan of stairs!
