The Alekšupīte river expedition offers a unique opportunity to discover the charm of Kuldīga's old town from a completely different perspective! This guided city tour Kuldīga invites you to learn about the picturesque town while navigating the lowest points, walking along the rocky bed of the Alekšupīte river. You'll find yourself overcoming small waterfalls and crossing several quaint bridges, all while uncovering the secrets of ancient houses from an unusual vantage point.

During this expedition adventure, you won't just gain fascinating insights about Kuldīga; you'll also experience a Kuldīga river walk like no other, allowing you to appreciate the town's houses from an entirely fresh angle. Participants are supplied with rubber shoes in the summer or rubber overalls during cooler weather and when water levels are elevated. To assist with navigating the rocky riverbed, a walking stick is provided for each participant.

Before embarking on the expedition, participants receive a brief instruction, and any items that should remain dry are securely stored in lockers.

The expedition lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
