Alekšupīte expedition is an unprecedented opportunity to embrace  the charm of the old town of Kuldīga from a completely different point of view! It is a guided city tour  where you can learn about the charming town while exploring the lowest points of it by walking on the rocky bed of the Alekšupīte river, overcoming small waterfalls, rifling through several small bridges and learning the secrets of ancient houses from a very unusual vantage point.

During this expedition adventure, not only you'll learn a lot of new things about Kuldīga, but you'll also get to see the towns houses from a different angle.
Participants in the expedition are provided with rubber shoes in summer, or rubber overalls in cooler weather and when river levels are higher. To make it easier to navigate the rocky bed, each has a stick available for support.

Before starting the expedition, participants are given a small instruction and all items that would not be desirable to accidentally be dropped into water/get wet are placed in secure lockers.

Expedition time ~1,5 hours.
