Try out this unique experience - get the tour of a beer brewery, have a chat with the local brewer and the most exciting part - brew your own craft beer! 

• As you arrive at the brewery the brewer will show you around and you'll have a chat about the beer you like, how alcoholic you like it etc. This way the brewer will get the idea of your taste to help you to customise your beer to your liking. 
• The brewer will guide you through every step of the beer brewing process so you can get the best possible result out of it. And yes - you will participate in each step so be prepared to get into brewers shoes! 
• At the end of the preparation processes your beer will be moved into a temperature controlled fermentation room. The yeast will do its job and turn the sugars into alcohol. 
• Once the yeast has finished its work, your beer will be moved into a cold conditioning room where the beer will rest so the yeast can sink to the bottom of the fermentation vessel and all flavours can merge to get the result of one tasty beer! Your beer!
• After ~4 weeks your beer will be ready to be bottled. Of course we'd love to see you returning to the brewery for this process so you can collect your beer yourself! However, we understand that if traveling from abroad, not always you can show up for the reunion. Worry not! The brewer will do the process for you and we can ship your beer to your home country if you wish! 

Additional bonuses: Of course, what is a beer brewing without a beer tasting! Although your beer will have to brew for some time before it is ready to drink, you'll get a tasting of 5x330ml previously brewed beers! 

How long does the brewing session take?

The brewing experience will take about 2,5 - 5  hours. Brewing experience goes hand in hand with some beer tasting and can be combined with additional activities in the area. 

Where is the brewery located?

Your beer brewing experience will take place at Kussh craft beer brewer which is located in the city of Sigulda, about  50 km from Riga Old Town. Sigulda is known for its natural beauty, picturesque views of river Gauja valley, medieval castles and some extreme activities like bungee jumping, Zip line, bobsleigh ride experience etc! 

Kushh beer brewery was established in 2019. Kussh brewers use natural ingredients. Its beer has a great mix of traditional and newer forms of brewing beer. Kussh beers are unpasteurised and non-filtered, however, they are matured for extra time to be as clear as they should be depending on their style. This way of brewing takes extra time and resources, but it adds a uniquely distinct flavour.
